Dr. Kathleen Claussen
Meet Dr. Claussen! Dr. Claussen graduated from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years. Originally from the Kansas City area (Go Chiefs!), she is licensed in the states of Kansas, Missouri, and Georgia! She started with Oakwood in February of 2025.
Dr. Claussen and her husband lived in Germany for three years prior to joining the Oakwood Animal Hospital family and enjoy travelling in their spare time. She also enjoys hiking, photography, reading, baking, and spending time with family.
As a Veterinarian, Dr. Claussen’s practice focus includes preventative & wellness care, client education, feline medicine, geriatric care, and internal medicine. Dr. Claussen’s knowledge and experience in the veterinary field continue to elevate the exceptional care here at Oakwood Animal Hospital.
